Floyd Cramer: Detours (1972)

This was a thrift shop find, in excellent shape inside and out. Cramer, backed by a rhythm section, runs through a series of classic and contemporary hits, as well as four original tunes.

"Spanish Eyes" appears on the Floyd Cramer compilation CD Piano Magic of Floyd Cramer. "Your Last Goodbye" appears on multiple compilation CDs. "Corn Crib Symphony" is available as an mp3. The rest of this LP is not on CD.

first thanks for all the sharing.can you share higher quality of tracks please? maybe flac or wav, at least 320 kbps of mp3?

(Update: my digitization process was foiled by advancing technology; I mostly post work that others have digitized for YouTube. Older tracks should still be accessible per the following procedure) Click on any song title to go to a box.net page for that song. Our goal is to post only tracks that are not available on CD or as mp3s – songs that cannot be purchased anywhere. We hope to raise interest in these out-of-print LPs without taking away a single cent of revenue from those who profit from the sale of music. All LPs are cleaned with a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine, then converted to CD using a harman/kardon home audio CD recorder, which uses an AKM 24-bit/96 kHz analog-to-digital converter. No digital or electronic effects are used. (Prior to November 12, 2012, all LPs were cleaned with a Spin Clean Record Washer.)
