This was a thrift store find; they'd just got in several LPs of Russian music, on labels I'd never heard of. When in doubt, I usually buy the LP, since they are only 99¢. If I don't like it, I can donate it back to the store. The record is in good shape, inside and out. It is not on CD.
It contains both traditional Russian folk songs as well as popular songs by Russian composers.

Hi friend, I´m from Veracruz, Mexico, and I found your blog looking for the album you´ve posted here, I have a copy here in my hands, it belongs to a friend (a very respectable and old lady, that bring the record on a travel that she made all over Russian). She asked me to transfer it to cd, but the copy I have is in no very good conditions. So I´m trying to find it on some blog to download, and give to my friend a good sounding copy of the vinyl, until now your blog is the only one that has this LP with the option to download but I can´t see how, would you show me how or it can´t.
