Bob Franke: For Real (1986)

I'll pick up anything on the Flying Fish label, as they have released many of my favorite records. This record was a thrift shop find, in great shape, although with some water damage to the back cover. Bob Franke's singing style isn't to my taste, but he writes some nice melodies.

I'm glad to hear this song again. I have a cassette, but can't easily play it anymore. Did you put "Boomerang Pancakes" here too?

(Update: my digitization process was foiled by advancing technology; I mostly post work that others have digitized for YouTube. All LPs are cleaned with a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine, then converted to CD using a harman/kardon home audio CD recorder, which uses an AKM 24-bit/96 kHz analog-to-digital converter. No digital or electronic effects are used. (Prior to November 12, 2012, all LPs were cleaned with a Spin Clean Record Washer.)

Preamplifiers: Hagerman Cornet3; Pro-Ject Phono Box S; NAD PP 2i, Rotel RA-931 integrated amplifier.
